Welcome

Well, Allison and I decided that instead of trying to update friends on Facebook, family on blogblog and the other riffraff with txting and email, we would follow the lead of our friend Sarah and make an easy to update blog that would put all of our updating, picks, etc in one place.
So, it has been awhile since we updated blogblog - so lets go back a few months.

In March, Allison and I took a vacation to Mexico with 4 other couples. It was a nice resort and a great time. It provided some much needed relaxation and no one was seriously injured...so all in all, a good vacation.

In May, we went on our yearly Memorial Day camping trip with family.

Oscar, as usual, waiting for everyone to catch up
Was quite a big group this year between Mom, Joe, Matt and weekend adoptee Emma; Steve and Cheryl's Crew; Annie, Tom and boys; Audra and Cam; and cameos by Alex and Sonja and the Huffers. Oh and the 5 dogs.

It was a great time, even with the rain - Glad Cam's rope-tying skills aren't rusty!

More recently, we participated in a fundraiser for the humane society called The Dog n Jog. Basically, picture 1000 dogs and owners covering a few blocks of the Plaza --> then picture a 2 mile run with 2 poorly behaved labs tied to my waist. The photographer owns the pics, of course and you can't link directly to them. If you want to see them, click here. Under the 22nd annual Dog N Jog, enter bib # 69. Pic 0001-091 is the funniest, Dexter is airborne!

Not a bad skyline to look at in the mornings

Well, if you've made it this far, we have one more update:
Allison and I are expecting! Allison is a little over 3 months along and is doing pretty well. Due date is January 28th. It is a little (a lot!) scary, but exciting. Well, that's it for now.
