Catching up...

It has been a bit hectic here for the last few weeks, AND Allison isn't even back to work yet.

Our house is on the market, making for the need for perpetual cleanliness (blech) and now two times where we weren't notified of a showing until after the scheduled time has come.

In between, Julia continues to grow and learn. She is beginning to smile, although she looks to be a side-mouth talker like her Dad and a few unnamed great-uncles.

It has been really fun to watch her start to pay attention to what is going on around her, whether it's a cat or Allison "annoying" her with a rattle.

We've also had another visitor with our good friend Jo coming to meet Julia. Jo is relentlessly spoiling Julia and already making my head hurt, having bought Julia her first two-piece bathing suit. I can only hope she has boys (or girls, for that matter) and I can teach them the finer points of loud, brash and violent PS3 games!

Julia visited Oklahoma Joe's for the first time while Johanna was here as well!

The dogs continue to do great with the whole baby thing. Just to see how far we could push them, we picked up some booties to wear outside in the winter when the road salt is out. They were less than thrilled.

Finally, my Reader is under 10 things to read for the first time in a month! Woohoo! And after wasting my day on that, I only have taxes, paperwork for Flagstaff and an article revision to do. Great.
